Good morning everybody! As promised, this week is my Paris guide. When I’ve thought about free-versus-paid content, access to how I experience a place is what I kept coming back to in terms of having value. So, this is the first time I’m locking a newsletter for paying subscribers only. (The Menorca one is still free.) Next week, we’ll be back to content that is free for everybody.
This guide is structured as how I’d spend an ideal few days in Paris if I was showing around somebody who has never been before. Mixed in are hotels I consistently stay at, as well as my favorite restaurants and shops which would be useful to anybody who is visiting Paris. After that are my regular sights and museums, some of which you may never have been to, though I suspect many of you have. Enjoy!
P.S. If you happen to be in Madrid in the next couple months, go to one of the most captivating house museums in the world–the Museo Cerralbo–to see a temporary exhibition by my friend the artist Filip Custic called “Why do we do what we do?”
